U First Pain Care & Rehab offers The Miracle Wave therapy, a cutting-edge treatment solution that uses Acoustic Wave Therapy (also known as AWT, RPW, EPAT, or RSWT) which is similar to the technology of Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (also known as ESWT or rESWT). This innovative equipment utilizes sound waves (or acoustic pulses) to initiate body tissue regeneration (healing) to help repair, restore and rejuvenate musculoskeletal disorders in soft tissue, tendon, muscle, bone, and joints.
The Miracle Wave is non-invasive treatment for a variety of conditions such as chronic or acute musculoskeletal pain, poor circulation, limited range of motion, soft tissue damage, etc.
U First Pain Care & Rehab also provides Cryofos therapy, a state-of-the-art paintherapy, which delivers intense cold therapy using medical CO2 gas. From its pressurized, liquid form in the cylinder, the gas streams out when the valve is opened to emerge from the nozzle of treatment gun as fine spray, which hits the skin at a temperature of -78°C and a pressure of 1-2 bars lowering the skin temperature to between 4°C and 2°C within just 30 seconds.
This abrupt temperature change is called a thermal shock and it generates a neuroreflexive response in the body which ultimately results in an increase of blood flow in the treated area, whilst reducing the contractions of pro-inflammatory mediators (for example: prostaglandins and histamines). In addition, the thermal shock combined with the pressure of the gas has an effect that is similar to a manual lymphatic drainage. By this method, edemas, hematomas, and local inflammations will be reduced much faster than by already known therapies.
